Outpatient Services

Koinonia’s specialty mental health services support placements in our resource homes, Koinonia’s STRTPs and the community. Koinonia provides convenient on-site and home-based therapeutic and supportive services. In addition, Koinonia provides pre- and post-adoption and guardianship behavioral health services as referred by Placer County to children and families with a specialty focus on issues related to trauma and permanency for youth who have been removed from birth families. Our Placer County program also offers Victims of Crime and private pay options. Koinonia’s overall behavioral health services may include: screening and assessment, individual therapy, family/collateral therapy, group therapy, crisis intervention, targeted case management, linkage and consultation, intensive care coordination, and therapeutic foster care.
