Almost one hundred people celebrated as Koinonia Homes for Teens, Beazer Homes’ Trade Alliance
representatives, and foster youth with golden shovels broke ground on the future site of Koinonia’s new
Dream Builders Workshop. The workshop, created by Beazer Homes’ Trade Alliance, will provide
Koinonia’s foster youth with hands-on training in construction disciplines, including concrete, plumbing,
framing, electrical, roofing, heating and air. The workshop will stand alongside Koinonia’s Tech Classroom
which teaches computer coding, 3D modeling, music engineering, and such, completing the Koinonia
Career Center.
