Our family restoration counseling program addresses the significant emotional, behavioral, and mental health challenges that result from traumatic experiences. Koinonia provides convenient on-site, in-home, community-based, therapeutic and support services to help each individual and family navigate their unique challenges.
Our mental health staff form a therapeutic partnership with participating clients, their families, and other professionals. Koinonia’s goal is to assist each client in addressing past emotional wounds while building their individual and familial strengths, values, resources, and community supports.
We provide mental health services to children, youth, nonminor dependents, and adults who are/have been in foster care, kinship, and/or adoptive families. We also serve children, families or individuals with other trauma experiences. For more information about our family restoration counseling services, call (916) 652-5802 or email LoomisCounseling@kfh.org.
Koinonia offers emergency on-call crisis services with emergency response availability for all children, youth and nonminor dependents in the program.
